Navarre’s President, Ms Yolanda Barcina, will present the book “Relatos de Plomo”, which tells the story of the victims in the terrorist attacks perpetrated by ETA in Navarre from 1960 to 1986.
Presentation of the book “Relatos de Plomo” (Lead Tales. History of terrorism in Navarre 1960-86) that gathers the direct testimonies and stories of all the victims of ETA’s terrorism
in Navarre. The book has been edited by the Government of Navarre as part of a project aiming at restoring the dignity of the victims of terrorism and presenting them before society as an example of the defence of democracy, tolerance and coexistence. Thanks to this project, the voice and memory of the persons who gave their lives to save democracy will remain alive.
The event will be held on the 2nd of April, Wednesday, at 12h30, in the room JDE53 at the Committee of the Regions (Rue Belliard 99-101, Brussels), and will be introduced by Ms Yolanda Barcina, President of the Government of Navarre. After the presentation a wine from Navarre and some snacks will be served.
